Let's get Twisted!
Welcome to Twisted Evolution where independence meets life. Here at Twisted Roots, we choose the off grid life for a multitude of reasons. The primary is the desire to be fully independent and self sufficient. As a result, we have spent the last 8 years cultivating our slice of heaven here in the Midwest. Are we the typical homestead? No. As a matter of fact,, we get grief for how we have set our "homestead" up by other off-gridders. That is how this became a thing for me. I wanted a place where others could come, we can share what we are doing, ask for advice if we need it, and get genuine, lived experience advice from others who get this life style. The fee to join is to maintain the groups integrity as much as I can.
I am not here to tell ya how to do this. I am here to celebrate with you, hold space when you need to vent, assist if I can when there's a solution needed and to keep the inspiration moving to let others know they too can be independent and they can build it the way they want.
I am really glad you are here. Let's build this community like we have built our independence. Authentically, intentionally and with a lot of fun mixed in!
