Shaped or textured monofilaments, why?
Hey crew - anyone prefer shaped / textured monofilaments (aka polys) over round? Can I ask why?
The idea is that sharp/rough strings grab a ball better for greater RPMs. Seems reasonable, and damn there are some sharp strings out there. But they also seem to grab their neighboring strings really well - and then snap-back is terrible. Isn’t snap back also quite desirable?
