5 Ways to Get Your Subconscious to Work WITH You, Not AGAINST YOU
Your subconscious mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy. The relationship you have with it depends on how you treat it and the style of communication you use.
Follow these guidelines below, and you will develop a partnership that leads you to your dreams, goals, and beyond. Ignore them at your own peril. Let’s dive in.
1) Give it Clear Instructions - Imagine you had an amazing assistant. He/She would do anything you asked perfectly. But you gave them confusing, conflicting, and unclear instructions. Pretty soon they would give up on you because your leadership was nonsensical and ineffective. The same is true with your subconscious. “You" are the leader of your subconscious mind. You must give it clear instructions on what you want. But to do that, you must first be very clear on what you want.
2)Know Exactly What You Want - Most people stumble through life without a clear picture of where they want to go. How can you sail the seas without a map? Sure, there are times where you will just catch the wind and go with the flow. But to get anywhere close to your desired destination, you must start with the end in mind. Get a clear picture of what your dream life looks like, and give those precise instructions to your subconscious through visualization, meditation, and belief.
3) Treat It Like A Friend - Like a friend, your subconscious mind longs to be treated with kindness and gratitude. When it gives you some amazing insight or work, be grateful like you would to a good friend who gave you great advice. Say “Hey thanks subconscious. That was really great.” Treat it like your best friend, and it will do the same to you.
4) Stay Consistent - Your subconscious mind responds to consistent instructions. You’ve started and quit so many things before that it is suspicious of your seriousness. If you want your subconscious to be your powerful and faithful servant, commit consciously to a course of action, stay consistent for at least 21 days, and watch as it gathers in formation behind you to propel you to success.
5) Give It A Reward - When you hit goals, celebrate. You don’t have to go overboard. You don’t have to eat a whole cake when you hit a weight goal. Just enjoy a few moments of simple pleasure and reward. Thank your subconscious for its help. Then get back to work. Set new goals. Create new frontiers. And always keep growing.
These five guidelines are going to help you create an amazing relationship with your subconscious mind. When you two are working together in tandem, its a like a Navy Seal squadron or a Jamaican bobsled team in your corner You become unstoppable, able to dream and achieve anything you desire.
The only limits to your life are those you place on yourself, and your subconscious. Set your mind free, follow these guidelines above, and create amazing things in your life.
