Stop Overcomplicating Cold Calling
One of the biggest mistakes I see agents make is believing they need the perfect script before they pick up the phone. They spend more time memorizing lines than actually having conversations.
Instead, keep every call focused on three simple things:
  • Who are you? Introduce yourself confidently so they know who’s calling.
  • Why are you calling? Give them a clear reason for the conversation that provides value.
  • What can you do for them? Show them how you can solve a problem or help them accomplish a goal.
That’s it.
When someone understands who you are, why you’re calling, and what’s in it for them, the conversation becomes natural. You stop sounding like you’re reading a script, prospects become more engaged, and your confidence grows with every call.
Cold calling isn’t about having the perfect pitch. It’s about having clear, valuable conversations. Master these three questions, and you’ll book more appointments without feeling like you’re “selling.”
