My journey as an author/storyteller has been robust. And I’m grateful for every single second of it. Granted, every single second hasn’t been pleasant. But I wouldn’t change it.
When I first started writing comic books, I had absolutely no idea how it worked. And I was incredibly grateful to work with an artist who walked me through the whole process. But I'm saying all of this to say that sometimes storytelling is more of a learning journey or a journey of discovery prior to it becoming an actual storytelling journey. And you have to embrace every single component of it so that your story can be authentic and relatable and come from a true place.
I would love, to share how my mistakes have molded me into a better author and better storyteller, so that you guys can bypass some of the unnecessary harsh lessons of storytelling and, learn how to embrace the inevitable parts of your storytelling journey to better your literary masterpieces.
