Loneliness and a spiritual path
There’s a very specific kind of loneliness that can happen on a spiritual path, especially when you become the steady one. The rock for all the people around you.
You start noticing that people come to you. They want your insight. Your calm. Your perspective. You’re the one who helps them process. You’re the one who sees clearly. You’re the one who can hold space for them.
And one day you realize… you don’t really have someone to go to in the same way.
This feels heavy.
Not because you’re better than anyone else. Not because you’re “more evolved" or "special". But because your awareness has shifted. You’re noticing nuances in your growth that not everyone around you would ever notice or even have language for. You’re integrating experiences that don’t always translate into everyday conversation.
It can feel like being the helper with no helper.
But this isn’t a sign that you’re meant to be alone now that you are on a spiritual journey. It’s a sign you’re in transition. Growth often outpaces community for a while. It stretches you before it surrounds you.
In this stage you are asked to strengthen your relationship with yourself, not to carry everything alone, but to trust that the right support will appear.
You are not meant to be the guide for everyone and unseen by all.
You’re just in the in-between.
When you ask the universe for support, be open to what this could look like.
And while you are in the in-between, this space is always here for you.❤️
