House Rules
Welcome to The Polymath Digital Salon! Here are some house rules:
🜂 The Salon — The Heart
This is the intellectual hearth of Samthonium.
The Salon is reserved for complete core thoughts, essays, and syntheses placed intentionally on the table. These posts are meant to stand on their own.
Responses and discussion belong in Cross-Pollination, where ideas are explored together.
🧠 Cross-Pollination — Where Ideas Meet
This is where ideas are tested, extended, and refined.
Post dialogue, questions, and thoughtful responses to ideas from the Salon or beyond. Respond generously. Disagree respectfully. Explore together.
All claims must be supported by data, sources, or clear reasoning. No ad hominems.
🎨 The Gallery — Rules of Expression
This is a space for artistic expression.
Share finished works or works-in-progress whether it be visual, musical, experimental, or aesthetic. You do not need to justify your work here. Just let it breathe.
🛠 The Workshop — Rules of Building
This space is for builders.
Share what you are building, testing, or experimenting with. Progress beats polished so please include what you are learning or have learned from the process.
All feedback must be offered with a constructive solution. Critique without contribution does not belong here.
🧩 The Thinking Gym — Mind & Muscle
This space is for playful rigor.
Share puzzles, riddles, connections, and mental sparring. There is no pressure and no streaks — only curiosity.
Train that brain for pattern recognition, processing power, or abstract thinking across domains.
🧭 Announcements & Wayfinding
This space exists for clarity and direction.
It will contain updates, orientation, and meta-notes about Samthonium itself.
