One of the biggest advantages you can have in roofing is how fast you respond to new leads.
Most contractors take hours or even days to call someone back.
But here’s what happens on the homeowner’s side:
They fill out a form…
Then they start waiting for someone to call.
The first roofer who calls usually becomes the one they remember and trust.
A simple rule to follow:
Call every lead within 5 minutes.
If they don’t answer:
- Leave a voicemail
- Send a quick text
Example text:
“Hey this is Mike with ABC Roofing. Just saw your request for a roof inspection. Wanted to reach out right away and see when a good time would be to take a look.”
Fast response does two things:
- Shows professionalism
- Gets you in the door before competitors
