HYRECAR IS OFFICIALLY DONE, what’s next?
Today is the last day HyreCar will be operating. They’re shutting down because they couldn’t renew their liability insurance, which was essential for their business model.
For those of us who started in the rental space through HyreCar, this is a big moment. It wasn’t perfect, but it gave a lot of people the chance to make money renting out their cars and build a real business. I started my rental journey with HyreCar, and while it had its headaches, it was a stepping stone to bigger and better things.
Now that it’s gone, the question is: What’s next?
