Most beginners freeze not because they “don’t know what to post”……but because they think they need to look perfect before they show up.
Let’s make it simple.
You only need TWO types of content to start: (Ofcourse there are others, but lets start with these):
1) Face posts (video or talking head)
2) Carousel posts (no face required)
And you can grow with just these.
What is a Carousel Post?
A carousel is a social media post where you swipe left to see multiple slides (often people add music for engagement too).Think of it like a mini-story or mini-lesson, broken down into 5–8 simple slides.
Why carousels are good for beginners:
- You don’t need to show your face
- You can communicate VALUE in small bites
- They increase “swipe time”, which boosts engagement
- Perfect for education, storytelling, or lists
Carousels get shared A LOT because:
✔ Easy to consume
✔ Easy to save
✔ Easy to share
✔ You don’t need to show your face
Tools You Can Use To Create Carousels
- Canva (templates already made)
- Notion AI (write simple text, export to Canva)
- Apple Notes or Google Notes (write your ideas first)
For face videos (if you want to show face):
- CapCut (super beginner-friendly tool for video editing, auto captions)
- InShot (simple editing)
To Generate ideas, feel free to use:
- ChatGPT (plug in your idea, get a caption)
- TikTok Search
- Instagram Search → "For You" Tab
- Google Search Autocomplete

WHAT MAKES A CONTENT SHAREABLE?
Here are the exact things that go viral:
✔ Simplicity (“Do this, not that”)
✔ Relatability (“I feel that!”)
✔ Transformation (story before → after)
✔ Emotion (fear, frustration, hope, clarity)
✔ Practical tips (people save these)
✔ Validation (“I’m not alone”)
If your content does ANY of these, you win.
