Greetings, all!
I've always been drawn to the occult and a higher understanding than what is found in exoteric religion and mundane life. I have long felt called called to explore the hidden mysteries of life, the soul, the divine, and to complete The Great Work in this incarnation.
I'm following a traditional Golden Dawn path and hope to gain additional insights from the teachings here, as well as meeting like minded people. If anyone has advice on a GD lodge or group in Northern California, please let me know.
My interests include the Western Mystery Tradition, Hermeticism, Kabbalah, Rosicrucianism, mysticism of all paths, Vedanta, Taoism, qi gong, magic in general (ceremonial, ritual, practical, grimoires, etc), synthesis and integration of different occult philosophies and schools, NDEs, the afterlife, psychic phenomenon ... to name a few. I am not interested in Thelma or other LHP, other than to have a general understanding of them.
