Avatar – "We are only borrowed from the earth."
Hi everyone 👋
Here's another spiritual connection to the movies...
There's a line in Avatar that stopped me cold the first time I heard it. One of the Na'vi says....
"All energy is only borrowed, and one day you have to give it back."
Wow! This was profound for me!..
Think about that.
Your body? Borrowed.
Your house? Borrowed.
Your kids, your talents, your little collection of crystals on the windowsill?
Borrowed, borrowed, borrowed.
We walk around acting like we own things. Like we're permanent. Like this life is ours to clutch and grip and defend.
But what if we lived like we were just… borrowing? .......For a little while...... Grateful...... Gentle...... Less attached.
You know what happens when you really feel that?
You stop fighting so much. You stop hoarding. You start sharing. You look at a sunset and think, "I don't own this. I just get to be here for it."
That's not morbid. That's freedom.
So today, try this.... look at one thing you usually cling to, your phone, your plans, your reputation, and whisper to yourself...... "Borrowed.".....And see what happens.
Spoiler.... it won't make you sad. It'll make you lighter.
