The Full Moon occurs this Wednesday, April 1st (yes… also April Fool’s Day 🙂), with its effects commonly felt a few days before and after.
A full moon happens when the Moon is opposite the Sun, fully illuminated from Earth’s perspective. This phase is often associated with increased visibility, reflection, and evaluation - both symbolically and behaviorally.
This particular full moon leans into themes of balance and awareness - how we show up not just individually, but within partnerships, teams, and everyday interactions. This period can highlight:
- Balance between personal needs and shared responsibilities
- Dynamics within professional and personal relationships
- Awareness of how individual actions impact others
There is also a widely shared observation - particularly among medical professionals, first responders, and those in high-demand roles - that activity levels, behaviors, or intensity of emotions can increase around the full moon. (We as humans are after all 65% water, and if the full moon has an effect on the tides of the ocean, chances are high it has an effect on the human body and emotions too right?!? :)
Question: If patterns in behavior, mood, or activity consistently appear around natural cycles - whether lunar or otherwise - do you view that as coincidence, environmental influence, or something not yet fully understood?
I love a good intellectual convo (and we can throw in some woo-woo too if interested!)
