I started this community for business owners and operators who are in the trenches every day trying to build something real.
I own Mueller Landscape Inc. in San Diego County, and we’ve been in business since 1982. Over the years I’ve learned that running a service business can be rewarding, stressful, exhausting, and exciting all at the same time. Most days you’re balancing customers, employees, pricing, payroll, scheduling, marketing, breakdowns, and trying to still have a life outside of work.
This community is where I’ll share what’s working, what’s not, and what I’m learning as we continue to grow.
Topics include pricing, profitability, hiring, leadership, KPIs, AI, automation, operations, marketing, customer acquisition, and real-world business challenges.
I’m not here to pretend I have everything figured out. I’m still learning too. But after decades in business, I know how valuable honest conversations with other operators can be.
