The Movement Healing Circle is a non-clinical space that uses the wisdom of African Diasporic dances and movements to support our healing journey. This space is created from the perspective and lived experience of a Black American woman dancer and holds space for those with aligned experiences and values.
While this space is created by Dance/Movement Psychotherapist J Lyn Thomas, this space is not therapy, prescriptive, nor meant to be a replacement for a clinical relationship with a licensed mental health professional. All movement activities and information are invitations, not prescribed or clinical suggestions.
In TMHC (The Movement Healing Circle) we explore movement practices that come from the wisdom of African Diasporic dances to support us in our every day lives, build community, and live our most aligned lives.
**This is a space for mutual respect, tolerance, uplifting, and empowerment. Disrespect, judgement, and oppressive behavior will not be tolerated.
