Every mother has a story to share, in fact, many stories. The ups and downs, the joys and the sadness, the celebrations and the despair.
For the most part, we keep it to ourselves, maybe because we are afraid of judgement, maybe because we don't want to be a burden, or maybe ... because we don't think we can share.
The thing is, the real truth of the matter ... every mother feels like that and yet we all stay separate, islands needing connection and support but not knowing quite how to ask for it, or receive it.
That's where this space comes into play. The Mother Ship is all about sharing the stories you have inside you about your mothering experience because ... you were never meant to carry them all alone.
No one expects you to, other mothers don't want you to, so how about we all take this moment to choose to share, to be in community, to connect, to write and to be the fullest, most awesome versions of ourselves while doing it.
