Thomas leads this group with professionalism, high expectations, excitement, and genuine interest in its members’ successes. He celebrates and promotes. This group has been great to help me to get into practicing for something more regularly. It also has connected a great group of musicians together for some cool hangs! Looking forward to more with the Modern Trombonist! Join and become part of a virtual forum, choir, and hive mind.

Im loving this group so far! Lots of great resources to expand your playing in many different areas, jazz, classical, low range, high range, improvisation, etc. and lots of great opportunities to play and meet other great players in the wider brass community. I would love to see some tips on composing/arranging for trombone choir/brass ensemble. Love it!

MORE PEOPLE SHOULD BE HERE. I really love the creator to fan connection that Thomas brings. The events are also worth mentioning since I haven’t seen many people put together an ensemble like that. My only critique would be to maybe add more resources for classical players. That would make this skool a super-well rounded set of trombone players.

I love being able to have access to a ton of music and transcriptions on songs that I love. Having people give feedback on videos you post helps a lot with my playing. Being in the Trombone Ensemble is super fun too!

This group is phenomenal with multiple challenges and exercises to improve the performance and the professional side of the instrument. Materials are clear and the music is fun to play
