The Elephant in the Room:
There’s an ancient parable about blind men and an elephant. Each touches a different part and insists he’s found the truth. One feels the trunk and calls it a snake. Another grabs the leg and swears it’s a tree. A third touches the side and insists it’s a wall. They’re all right. They’re all wrong. None of them sees the elephant.
For years, I had no choice but to live like those blind men. I had my massage therapy training, my exercise certifications, and my spiritual practices. Each was true. Each was powerful. But they existed in separate compartments, never FULLY integrated, never really speaking to one another. Until I began exploring Human Design…
I’m a Triple Split Splenic Projector with a 2/4 profile, a configuration that appears in less than one percent of the population. When I first heard about my design, something shifted. My spleen has always been my compass. It’s the still, small voice that knows truth before my mind can rationalize it away.
In massage therapy school, I learned to trust my hands. I was trained to feel tissue density, to sense where the body held tension, to recognize patterns of dysfunction. That training taught me something essential: the body speaks a language that precedes thought. It knows things the conscious mind hasn’t yet articulated.
When I began studying Human Design charts, I realized I was using that same skill set. I would study a chart—any chart, whether it belonged to a spiritual leader, a historical figure, a presidential candidate, or a client—and something in me would simply know. Not intellectually. Intuitively. My spleen would recognize the pattern, the blueprint, the design.
This is what it means to honor the gift of intuition. Einstein said it: “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” I was learning to honor the gift.
Intuition without verification is just opinion. So I would set of to test it. I explored hundreds of Human Design charts. I looked for connections and differentiations. I cross-referenced what I felt to be true with what neuroscience was discovering about the nervous system, what scripture revealed about human nature, what various theological traditions taught about consciousness and design. A deep joiurney of "Investigation and Analysis".
They all aligned.
The spleen’s role in Human Design mirrors what neuroscience tells us about the vagus nerve and the enteric nervous system. The biblical concept of the heart as the seat of wisdom echoes across Christian, Jewish, and contemplative traditions. The Sacred HEARTS framework I developed - the Healing, Education, Awakening, Resources, Tools, Support Systems and Strategies - aligns with what neuroscience now validates as essential for nervous system regulation and LASTING transformation.
I wasn’t discovering something new. I was seeing what was already true.
The elephant was always there.
I was learning to see the whole animal instead of touching isolated parts of it with my eyes CLOSED...
This is where the real work began. Through my conversations with Gordon Brodecki on his podcast “Unleash the Ultimate You,” we explored what it means to awaken through Human Design. We talked about loss, truth-seeking, the cost of avoiding pain, and how your design is your God-given blueprint. These weren’t academic discussions. They were vulnerable, unscripted conversations about what happens when you finally choose yourself.
In another episode, Gordon and I broke down what my Human Design blueprint reveals about who I am—and what that means for how I show up in the world. We explored the connection between Human Design, faith, and science. We talked about why so many people feel fragmented, and what it takes to integrate the disconnected parts of ourselves.
The Sacred Embers retreat with Trista Harrison in St. George became a laboratory for these explorations. We gathered women and explored their Human Design charts together. We discovered that our collective designs revealed something profound about how we were meant to work together, how our different energies complemented one another, how healing accelerates when we honor each person’s unique blueprint.
The Find Your Voice retreat in Virginia Beach was another turning point. Last year’s retreat became quite the learning experience. Our collective Human Design charts revealed that we were meant to be in that room together. The patterns, the energies, the designs—they all pointed to something larger than individual transformation. They pointed to the community, to the power of being seen and known for who you actually are.
When Science, Spirit, and Scripture Converge
When you stop treating these domains as competitors and start seeing them as different languages describing the same truth, something shifts.
Neuroscience shows us how trauma lives in the body, how the nervous system becomes dysregulated, how healing requires somatic awareness and vagal tone restoration. Scripture tells us we are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” created in the image of God, that love and truth are the foundation of wholeness. Human Design reveals the specific blueprint each of us carries—our energy type, our strategy, our authority, our gifts, and our wounds.
These aren’t contradictions. They’re the same elephant described from different angles.
When I work with clients now—through massage, nutrition coaching, hypnotherapy, or spiritual guidance—I’m not compartmentalizing. I’m seeing the whole person. I’m honoring the design they came in with. I’m using intuition informed by evidence. I’m inviting them into a faith-rooted, science-backed, soul-aligned journey.
This is why I have been focusing my time, energy, and resources in mastering this understanding - or at least working to understand it.
This is where I have been spending time and energy building the MASSAAH’G Marketplace on Skool. It’s not JUST a collection of services.
THIS ia a space where we stop pretending the elephant is a snake, a tree, or a wall. It’s a space where we say: You are whole. Your design matters. Your intuition is valid. Your body’s wisdom is real. Your spiritual hunger is sacred. All of it can be integrated into a coherent, transformative journey.
Through my explorations with Gordon Brodecki, through the Sacred Embers retreat with Trista Harrison, through Find Your Voice at Virginia Beach, through countless Human Design conversations, I’ve been gathering evidence. Evidence that this integration works. Evidence that when we see the whole elephant, healing accelerates!
The podcast conversations, the retreat learnings, the Human Design explorations, they’re all strokes as part of the larger portrait of peace on Earth. In the MASSAAH’G Marketplace, we’re "painting the picture of the promise of a Hope and a future" together for you.
If you’ve ever felt fragmented. Like you're too spiritual for your rational mind, too rational for your spiritual friends, too woo for church, or too JESUS for New Age, this is for you. If you know healing requires more than fixing the symptom, if you trust your body’s wisdom, if you’re hungry for a path that honors both your humanity and your divinity, then you belong here.
Your design is not a mistake.
Your intuition is not a liability.
Your wholeness is not a luxury. It’s your birthright.
In the MASSAAH’G Marketplace, we’re here to help you see the whole elephant.
