Welcome to The Live Audio & AV Lab
With over 35 years of experience as a live gigging musician, I bring a deep, practical understanding of performance, sound, and production. I’m an experienced guitarist, bass player, and keyboard player with a lifelong foundation in live music and stagecraft.
Alongside my performance career, I’ve worked extensively as a live sound engineer for countless bands, developing a strong reputation for delivering clear, powerful, and reliable audio in demanding live environments.
For the past 20 years, I’ve built a career in the professional audio-visual industry as an AV Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Commissioning Engineer. My work spans system design, integration, and delivery across a wide range of commercial and performance environments.
I’m highly experienced in DMX lighting programming, large format LED control and setup, and advanced control systems, with specialist knowledge in Extron control systems, as well as SY, AMX, Neets, Biamp, and Blustream platforms. I also have strong expertise in networked audio, holding Dante Level 3 certification.
My background bridges both creative performance and technical engineering, giving me a unique, real-world perspective on how to make complex AV and live production systems work seamlessly.
