Week 2
I didn't create a log for week 1 however this week I worked on my book of folktales and was able to complete 1 short story..
Here's an extract from the piece:
“Grandpa,” he asked, “why are the mountains so quiet?”
Samuel looked up from his net.
“Quiet?”
“Yes,” Elijah said. “The sea makes noise. The wind makes noise. Even birds make noise.”
Samuel smiled.
“That’s true.”
“But the mountains don’t say anything,” Elijah continued. “They just sit there.”
Samuel tied another knot in the net and thought for a moment.
“Maybe the mountains have nothing to say.”
Elijah frowned.
“That doesn’t make sense.”
Samuel chuckled.
