The guilt of wanting more when you already have a good life. The 11PM laptop sessions after the baby finally goes to sleep. The partner who supports you but doesn't fully get it yet. The days you stare at a blank screen and wonder if any of this is worth it. The fear that you'll be sitting in the same chair at the same job five years from now.
This room is for all of that.
I'll start.
My son is 7 months old. He has no idea his dad is trying to change our family's future one deployment at a time. He just knows that when I walk in the door, he smiles.
That's enough.
That's why I build.
Not for the money.
Not for the trophy.
For the version of him who grows up watching his dad prove that a regular person — no MBA, no marketing degree, no head start — can build something real.
