At the weekend I was walking in the grounds of a beautiful school here in The Cotswolds and thinking how truly blessed we are to have nature as a healing tool. While waiting to meet someone I enjoyed the trees and the open fields and marvelled at the tiny etchings of frost on the bare outstretched fingers of the branches.
The sun was still high in the sky at this point and warming despite the winter chill. After 6 years in the Middle East this is my first winter home and I am truly appreciating the splendour of nature and changing seasons after years of viewing miles of sand devoid of any greenery or nuances of shifting months.
So grateful to be home on days like these. Anyone else revel in the seasons in the same way?
