Welcome to The Lactation Circle! I'm so happy you are here!
If breastfeeding feels confusing, overwhelming, painful, or uncertain right now, you’re in the right place.
Additionally, if things are going well but you are looking for other moms who get how difficult the many roads of breastfeeding can be… you’re in the right place, too!
This space was created for both of those experiences.
Because most moms don’t struggle from a lack of effort. It's the lack of support. We're here to change that!
🫶 What this community is
This is a calm, supportive space for pregnant and new moms who want:
  • clear, simple breastfeeding guidance
  • reassurance without Googling everything at 2am
  • real answers from a board-certified lactation consultant (not conflicting advice online)
  • support in the early weeks when everything feels uncertain
  • a place where questions are welcome, not judged
  • support that understands even a "great" breastfeeding experience can still be challenging
This is where you come to feel connected, informed, and empowered.

Those questions don’t mean you're doing anything wrong... You're learning. Have grace with yourself! You're in the thick of it. Lean into your fellow moms who were there not long ago.

🫶Truth Bomb : Society Makes it Hard to Breastfeed
Breastfeeding is a learned skill. You are not supposed to intuitively know all of this. In an ideal world, you would learn it from your mother, your sisters, your friends and neighbors. But some families have had two generations of bottle feeding, and lost out on the generational knowedge on the art of nursing your baby. This community is here to be the place where bridge the generations of knowledge!
Small adjustments can make a very big difference. You'll say, "it was that simple all along?" Yes, and now that you know, it will be easier every single time!
You don’t need to prove anything. Everyone always has something to say about how you are mothering your baby... this is a space where you can feel confident that you will be encouraged and supported, not made to feel dumb or small.
👋 Welcome! Introduce Yourself
We’re so glad you’re here 💛
Tell us a little about you:
  • Where are you in your journey? (pregnant, newborn, weeks/months postpartum)
  • What are your feeding goals?
  • What’s one thing you’re feeling unsure about right now?
Optional:
  • Where are you located? (we have members nationwide!)
✨ You can share as much or as little as you’d like
I will reply to every post—this is your space to feel supported from day one.
🌿 You’re in the right place.
Learn what you need to know to feel great about feeding your baby, and surround yourself with other moms who GET IT.
🩺 If you need more direct support
Sometimes, you need direct lactation support. There's a limit to how in-depth I can go as a lactation consultant without having more background, like you and your baby's medical history, medications, and feeding history.
If you ever find yourself thinking:
  • “I just need someone to look at this with me.”
  • “I want to make sure I'm latching my baby right.”
  • “I’m not sure what to do next.”
That’s exactly what lactation visits are for.
This community supports you — and so can I, more directly when needed.
I am currently in-network with CIGNA, Colorado Medicaid, and Child Health Plus in Colorado. I am in the process of getting in with all major insurances and will be so excited to serve you! I also offer self-pay visits that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement for care with an out-of-network provider. These are $150.
