Great to be here
Hi everyone, my name is Jarrod, a digital nomad living in Greece. Back when I was in New Zealand I did a fair amount of MMA - and BJJ was obviously a big part of that. What I liked most about BJJ was the ability to roll more intensely without the high impact of striking (always seemed more sustainable to me).
Since traveling I haven't had as many opportunities to train with others so mostly do shadow sparring and striking now. I have been traveling for 3 years so my ground game will be super rusty by now - a great reason for me to join this community!
Something else that might interest you is a new type of strength training I have developed using principles from BJJ. It has a lot of applications and I have a free community here on that - so if you want to check that out you are more than welcome to.
Great to be here, and I look forward to seeing this community grow (hopefully some other people from Greece will show up here soon enough!)
