  • University of Victoria - Strong exchange programs in 30+ countries, 200+ clubs
3️⃣ Step 3: Research

School 1: McGill University
  • GPA: 92–95% (very competitive)
  • SAT: 1350-1500 (if submitted)
  • Major: Arts and Sciences – Interdisciplinary programs (combines science and literature)
  • Minor: Linguistics
  • EC: Model United Nations club (practice public speaking, research, and leadership)
School 2: Université de Montréal
  • GPA: Around 85–90% average (B+ to A) in high school for most undergrad programs
  • SAT: Doesn't rely much on SAT score, but optional for international students (Minimum recommended SAT: ~1200, competitive SAT score: 1300–1400+)
  • Major: Langues modernes/Linguistique/Traduction/Études internationales
  • Minor: Spanish/Italian/German
  • EC: Café des langues (language exchange café, weekly international meetups)
School 3: Bishop's University
  • GPA: ~80% (very accessible)
  • SAT: Not required
  • Major: International Studies/Modern Languages/English & Creative Writing
  • Minor: French/Spanish
  • EC: BU International Club (cultural nights, language exchanges, international potlucks, day trips, and holiday celebrations from around the world)
School 4: University of Victoria
  • GPA: Around 80–85% for general admission; some programs need higher
  • SAT: Not required for Canadian students. Optional for international applicants. (Minimum: 1170–1200, a strong score: 1300+)
  • Major: French Language and Literature/Biology
  • Minor: German/Global Development Studies/Computer Science
  • EC: UVic Language Café (weekly conversation tables with snacks and fun topics in multiple languages)
