If I could write a letter to my younger self, I think the first thing I’d say is…
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
I know you’re trying so hard to hold it all together. I know you think being “strong” means ignoring your pain, pushing through exhaustion, pretending you’re okay, and keeping everyone else happy while slowly losing yourself in the process.
But one day you’ll realize that surviving isn’t the same thing as living.
You’ll learn that rest is important. That boundaries matter. That not everyone is meant to stay in your life. That your thoughts aren’t always telling you the truth and that healing starts the moment you stop running from yourself.
I’d tell you to stop being so hard on yourself for not having everything figured out yet.
You’re allowed to grow slowly and to change your mind. Also, your allowed to outgrow old versions of yourself and even ask for help.
There will be moments where life breaks you open, but those moments will also rebuild you into someone more grounded, self-aware, compassionate, and intentional.
And despite everything you’ve been through…you make it.
So here’s your reminder today:
If you could write one message to your younger self… what would you say?
Write it in the comments. Someone else might need to hear it too. ❤️
