Hexagram 2
Of the Receptive, I've always loved this phrase: "...with great amplitude of its being, it is the bearer of the external world". The Earth sustains us all, excludes no one. That generosity, that surrender, that quality of being able to be with everything, calm and silent, and at the same time powerful. A power that nourishes us all, shapes us.
I've lived Hexagram 2 with greater intensity since 2017, when I had my first daughter. And I don't stop living it in my daily life, whether as a mother, or as a guide to let myself be led by something higher, more spiritual. When this hexagram appears in a reading, I understand that I'm being asked for surrender, docility, and trust. I let myself be led by something higher.
