No selling your own services, affiliate links, unrelated promotions, or DM solicitations. Sharing your own listings for feedback is fine.
2. Be Respectful & Positive
Treat others the way you want to be treated. No insults, trolling, or gatekeeping — we’re all here to learn.
3. Ask for Help the Right Way
When posting a deal for feedback, include:
• Screenshot or link
• Price
• Location
• Your question (“Good deal?”, “Worth it?”, etc.)
This helps others give useful advice.
4. Keep Critique Honest but Kind
Be direct but respectful.Focus on improving the gear or listing, not criticizing the person.
5. No Fake, Stolen, or Sketchy Gear
Do not post or promote anything you suspect may be counterfeit, stolen, or otherwise questionable. Integrity matters here.
6. Use Clear, Accurate Information
If sharing specs, valuations, or advice, be honest and avoid knowingly posting incorrect or misleading info.
7. No Illegal Activity
No discussing scams, deceptive tactics, stolen gear, or anything shady. We trade ethically.
8. Stay on Topic
This community is for:
• Buying, selling, and trading guitar gear
• Deal evaluation
• Setup & repair basics
• Marketplace strategy
General guitar chat is welcome — just keep it relevant.
9. Protect Yourself
Never post private addresses, banking info, or anything sensitive. Follow safe meetup practices with all in-person deals.
10. Keep It Beginner-Friendly
No shaming anyone for not knowing something. Help people learn — the community is strongest when newcomers feel supported.
