It introduces the Connection Anchor, which comes from my Roots of Relationship framework. This is an evidence-based framework Iâve developed by weaving together attachment theory, nervous system regulation, behaviour science, and years of hands-on work supporting children and families.
The Connection Anchor focuses on how adults stay emotionally present in moments of difficultyâwithout fixing, explaining, or rushing behaviour change. Connection here is about safety and availability, not solutions.
Thereâs no pressure to apply anything right away. Reading, noticing, and reflecting is the work.
If youâd like to share: what does connection in a moment of difficulty mean to you right now?
