Heart-Healthy “Caramel Cream” Iced Coffee
Tastes like: a melted caramel frappe
Serves: 1 large or 2 small
🧊 Ingredients:
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled (cold brew is best for smooth flavor)
- ½ cup unsweetened oat milk (or almond milk; oat gives creamier, caramel-like texture)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (optional but enhances “caramel warmth”)
- 1–2 teaspoons unsweetened natural almond butter or tahini (adds creamy richness & healthy fats)
- 1–2 soft Medjool dates, pitted (natural caramel sweetness)
- Ice for serving
🌀 Instructions:
- Blend coffee, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, almond butter (or tahini), and dates in a blender until smooth and frothy.
- Taste — if he wants it a touch sweeter, add another half date.
- Pour over ice and enjoy!
