Daily Giveback 0104 - Happy New Year?
Happy New Year… or at least the one we were taught to celebrate.
The truth is, the real new year has always been in the spring, when life actually begins again. When the earth wakes up. When trees bud. When everything becomes new.
Nature does not reset in January. It resets when the cold releases its grip and creation starts moving forward again.
For thousands of years, life followed natural rhythms and cycles. Seasons. Moon cycles. Seed time and harvest. Life was understood as a process, not a date on a calendar. You reap what you sow, and harvest never comes without planting first.
Somewhere along the way, calendars were adjusted, systems were standardized, and we were taught to believe that what is convenient is the same as what is true.
But life does not stop because a page turns. Life continues growing, shedding, and renewing whether we acknowledge it or not.
This season is not about rushing results. It is about planting. What you sow in discipline, faith, health, relationships, and work will come back to you in its proper season.
Do not be discouraged if you do not see immediate change. Seeds grow in the dark before they ever break the surface.
So yes, Happy New Year. But more importantly, be intentional about what you are planting. Because harvest is coming, and you will always reap what you sow.
Spring is coming. And with it, everything new 🌱
