One of the most powerful experiences I have ever had in the last few years was an intensive Journey focused completely on the topic of letting go. Letting go of my role as mother of a teenager, letting go of past traumas and wounds, letting go of the victimhood I was stuck in, letting go of the grip my story of betrayal had on my body.
So many things I am still working on releasing, but that experience launched me into a freedom I never imagined I could have, and I didn't realize how much I was missing. The freedom to have a life outside of taking care of and worrying about others was a foreign concept to me.
The hardest part was realizing that letting go was my ONLY path to that freedom and peace.
Once I embraced the surrender, everything started to fall into place.
What are you hanging onto that is keeping you stuck?
