Repurpose a Compost Tumbler & how to use it!
Hey gardeners,
I picked up this tumbler from marketplace and bought it home.
Dave (my partner) spray painted it black, then red once it was dried.
He placed a few bolts in the stands to keep it together but we might have to finish drilling the holes as there are no nuts on the bolts as it doesn’t go all the way through.
I put the drum on the stand this morning before it got too hot. I added some washers to both sides of the bolt.
Now it works a treat and I raked up all the leaves and placed them inside….as we have had so much wind lately.
My question is: how do I start the compost process in the tumbler? What should I add? How much of each item should I add?
