Mice traps
These pesky little things are chewing through my netting to get into garden beds and then eating the squash, the chillies, the green tomatoes. Even digging under a metal basket ive put over the cos lettuce to eat that as well. I decided im putting way too much effort into feeding the local mice population and needed to try traps as my husband was dead against the poison option due to our dog. Yesterday I bought 6 little traps. Set them up with cheese because I really didnt know what else to use and placed them around inside and outside netted beds. This morning I have 2 traps that were set off (cheese gone and no mice caught), 3 traps still set up with the cheese gone and 1 trap untouched with cheese insitu.
Does anyone have any tips on setting up traps? Is there a better option than cheese?
