3 Grounding Truths to Create a New Reality -
Community (2 Kings 7:3-11)
- who is in your circle of influence
- we don't need a perfect circle of friends but a willing group that is moving forward
- isolation kills creativity
Confession (Luke 9:24)
- it's better to confess to the Lord the negativity we are struggling with versus confessing the positivity we don't believe
- God is the safest place to be honest
- God is not intimated with our honesty and struggles
Christ's Model (Matthew 26:39)
- Christ models what to do when pain and trauma hits our lives
- Christ didn't spiritually bypass it by pretending it wasn't painful but rather cried out to God for comfort, strength, and acknowledged God's will mattered most.
