I reached a point recently where I felt completely burned out.
I had put in the time. I worked the long hours. I did everything "right"—built the career, stayed loyal, and worked harder than most.
But I still felt... stuck.
The real turning point for me? Being passed over for a promotion for the second time. I remember sitting there thinking: "I do more than half the people here and no one notices. Is this really what the rest of my life is going to look like?"
I realized in that moment that I didn't care about "climbing the ladder" anymore. I cared about freedom.
The Shift:
I used to tell myself, "I don't have time to build my own business with this job." But the truth is, I didn't have the time not to.
