Most of the time, the body doesn’t want to be distracted, forced, suppressed, deferred, poked, or questioned. It wants an immediate release. It doesn’t want to hold that feeling or thought anymore — it just wants to do what it already knows how to do.
And the moment you interrupt it, you end up holding onto it.
