Something I’ve learned from running a business (especially in industries that aren’t always straightforward) is that tools and platforms matter — but boundaries matter more.
Knowing things like:
- what work you will and won’t do
- how available you are to clients or customers
- what you charge and why
- where you draw the line to protect your time and energy
These decisions quietly shape how sustainable your business becomes. Without clear boundaries, it’s easy to burn out, undercharge, or feel resentful even when things are “working.”
Strong boundaries aren’t about being rigid or unfriendly. They’re about making your business something you can actually maintain long-term.
What’s one boundary you’ve had to learn (or are still learning) to set in your business?
