Let’s talk about the pain points nobody warns you about in SAM.gov.

These are the 3 biggest mistakes that delay or derail your SAM registration:

1️⃣ Paying a third-party “renewal service.” SAM is 100% free — anyone charging you is scamming you.

2️⃣ Skipping the MPIN setup — this creates login and payment verification issues later.

3️⃣ Address mismatch — your EIN, bank info, and SAM entity must match exactly (down to commas and abbreviations).

✅ Fix:Log in to your SAM.gov entity profile and verify every field matches your IRS and bank records exactly.

💡 Pro Tip: Save a screenshot of your “Entity Overview” once approved — you’ll need it for SBA and DIBBS later.
