A community for contrast-rich black & white landscape photography: mood, shapes, light, atmosphere — and the craft behind it.
I’m not a professional photographer. I’m a passionate hobbyist who’s been shooting since I was six. Over the years, I tried many styles (landscape, street, nature, color, high contrast), but I keep coming back to B&W: calmer, more timeless, more focused on what matters in an image.
I’m drawn to landscapes that feel detached from civilisation — but not completely. I love finding the subtle symbiosis between nature and the human world: a path, a fence, a lonely structure, a trace.
This isn’t a promise of magazine covers or instant success. It'’s a place to learn, share, and improve through:
- Weekly photo challenges
- Critique & feedback (from the community and me)
- Live meetups/discussions
- A positive, honest vibe
If you want to get better at B&W landscapes and enjoy the journey, welcome.
