Is it actually good to show you’re getting older in business?
I’d genuinely love your thoughts on this…
I’ve connected with a lot of new people on LinkedIn lately, and I’ll be honest, so many of the profile photos look like they’re at least 10 years out of date. The grey hairs are now there, the wrinkles have joined the party… but the photos haven’t changed.
And with all the noise online about people 40+ being replaced by AI or younger talent, it got me thinking 👇
Should we be trying to “cover up” and look younger, hair dye, filters, old photos, just to stay competitive?
Or…
Should we be embracing our age and owning the wisdom, experience, and stability that only time can give us?
I’m genuinely curious how you see it.
Does showing your real age help or hurt your business presence?
And if you’re 40+, have you felt the pressure to appear younger?
