Your identity
When it comes to identifying myself as a trader, I would go completely silent. I have never been a trader, and I really have no idea what I am doing. When people talk about trading, my brain just gets confused. I would definitely consider myself an outsider, but I am willing to be educated on the topic. I think it is going to take some hard work and dedication to learn this type of information, but I am ready to take on that kind of responsibility.
Observing your habits
A typical trading day for me is currently nonexistent. I am here in this group to change that. I’m here to learn and listen about other people’s experiences so that I can be more educated on the subject before I just jump right in and start to drown.
Your beliefs
Trading is a new skill I want to learn but I do fear. When I do start trading, I don’t want to lose money, but I do understand that losing can also mean winning in the future; maybe it's just part of the experience that everyone has to go through. What I would be most scared of is losing money consistently. I’m afraid that if I start, I won’t get the right strategy right of the bat and I will continue to make bad decisions. I don’t want to constantly lose money left and right and then lose my confidence and just quit.
Current environment
The tools and processes I would be currently relying on would be this group. I don’t have any certain timeframes that I am focusing on nor a certain strategy. As of right now, I am enjoying being included in this group so I can learn different things from different people and hear their feedback.
Reflection
If I was an outsider reading my own answers to these questions I would have a few answers. I would continue to help out and teach a newcomer my strategies while also being completely transparent especially when it comes to talking about losses. I would also try to motivate anyone trying to learn for themselves so that they can better their knowledge and hopefully their future in the final outcome.
