1 John 3:16 NIV
[16] This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
โค๏ธ So often we hear people say that they would die for one another
"I would die for my kids" or "I would die for my spouse"
๐
And yet we won't deny fleshly temptations, second guess our impulses, or accept correction appropriately.
๐ Why do you think it's easier to say that we will die for someone but we don't say we will refrain from anger for someone?
