Purpose in your wilderness
Scripture: Exodus 13:18
God led them the long way.
The long route builds maturity. Who am I talking too this morning. God led them out of bondage the long way. If you are not fully familiar with the life and story of.Moses, get ready! (He's my favorite co star of the Bible.( But remember God has purpose and Intentions and everything that he does in our lives even when we don't understand.
So think about it for a moment. Think about that time that you prayed to be in a different situation
What did that season look like for you? Can you recall how long it lasted. Maybe you got out but you went back for whatever reason to revisit the circumstance, Hoping that things had changed. Hoping that things got better
Where? That's exactly where Moses' people were. They wanted to be free but the cost was so big to make it to their wilderness. They set out their mouths that they rather stayed slaves over the fear of leaving what God had promised them. Remember today that there is purpose in the wilderness.
Create your time intentionally so that you can dwell there so that the Lord can deal with you in private.
Be okay with being gracefully broken in the father's arms The wilderness builds character!
Delay doesn't mean denial!
