New Article: Astro-News
Hey all, new article is live on substack. It's the astrology of geo-political and current events, but here's a takeaway for the next seven days that's relevant for all:
Here’s what we have coming up for Jan 8-14:
  • Jan 9: Sun conjunct Mars, Venus opposite Jupiter, Saturn sextile Uranus (re-entering 1 degree orb)
  • Jan 10: Sun opposite Jupiter, Mars opposite Jupiter, 3rd Quarter Moon in Libra
  • Jan 11: Venus square Chiron
  • Jan 12: Sun square Chiron
  • Jan 13: Mars square Chiron
  • Jan 14: Mercury opposite Jupiter
For your own work this week, the question is: what are you consolidating? Where is Capricorn in your chart, and what singular direction are these planets pointing to for you? If you initiated something last week, this coming week is about holding the line while the pressure builds, because it very well might.
The oppositions to Jupiter (Jan 9-11) bring expansion to the tension. Jupiter wants more, while Capricorn desires control. For leaders, this shows up as scope creep, overcommitment, or external forces demanding you justify your position. Tension is inevitable to some extent, but it’s there to reveal where you’ve overextended and where your foundations are solid.
The 3rd Quarter Moon in Libra (Jan 10) releases pressure that may have build up around the Full Moon in Cancer on the 3rd. Negotiation, recalibration, or closure as well as legal matters, partnerships, and contracts. If something needs to shift in any of these categories, this is the window to do so.
The stellium is still in Capricorn, but this week it’s less about the “strikes” and more about what you do with the territory you’ve claimed.
