Wishing Well
Wishing well dreams you hear
Whispered just for you to be clear
Tossed my penny made my wish
Patiently waiting to be served as a dish
I wait but it doesn’t come, wait more
I hate waiting, please enter the door
In my head your voice I still here
In my heart longing brings tears
Unsure of what will ever become
Soon my spirit drops hope slums
Whispers shout turn away go
I can’t give up on this love now I know
Wishing well will I ever have it granted
Will I be without you forever stranded?
