Unbalanced ( ANOTHER THROW BACK)
The scale is laid in the balance
but I’m not measured by my talent
my mind or my worth
to you I am just a skirt
Although I can out think you
out work you
beat you at your own game
You see me differently
my worth is not the same thing
your compadres with the same genitalia
have the same financial umbrella
Why? Because they have a penis
Or are men from Mars
and woman from Venus?
It's time to wake up
send the rate of pay up
Women are brilliant,
beautiful, and talented
So fix the unfair pay scale
balance it..
