Halloween Party
Once a year you come around
Pumpkin carving, trick or treating
Treats disguised as horrors eating
Kids fill the streets every corner in town
Not us, we celebrate kind of different
Clean the shop, where our night is spent
Music playing, plenty of room to dance
Cooler feeds tipsy people as they prance
Some dress up in costumes, some don’t
Some drink, designated drivers won’t
Children play games, laugh and have fun
They tire out, soon their night is done
Adults continue to party through the night
Mother has had her fill, bids farewell, being polite
Tomorrow will be cleaning day again
Oh what memories, of way back when.
