I Think I Figured out the Button Making Issue
I was using stickers for my badges but some of the backs were popping off. The paper wasn't crimping tight enough or evenly enough. I started peeling the stickers and pasting them to the metal front. So far so good! I also ordered another product with a metal backing, instead of the plastic.
