Where To Begin?? 🤔🤔

COMPLETE newbie here. I would love to get advice from you wonderful people on where I should even begin with AI. I have not been in this space for long. In fact until recently I was not into computers or anything like this at all. Not a "techie", not a "gamer". Just someone using computers for productivity. You know...boring AF stuff. But the emergence of AI has completely flipped that on its head for me!! 🥰 I think AI is absolutely amazing and the possibilities we have as humans are endless!!

Ok...please stick with me here, lol. I am super excited to be writing this after unlocking my Level 2 (thanks everyone 😊) and I tend to talk a lot when I get excited because I am really passionate about this stuff!! 😊😊

For context, I want to learn how to use AI for lead generation and to use AI in customer outreach in my profession (yes, I know more kinda boring stuff). But I want to learn how to create stuff with it!! I also want to use it in a couple of businesses I am starting. But my focus is using AI to help others who want to help others. I don't know if that falls into an AI agency or what. I love learning, teaching, and helping others. I don't care about making a million dollars with an AI agency but I do care about using AI to help me create a life to break out of the corporate world and be a full time entrepreneur where I can help people. So I'm turning to 126,000 members in this community to help me achieve these goals!!! 🏆

This post is a couple of paragraphs so I hope you read it to the end and don't roast me too bad in the comments lol. 😁😁

For about the last six months I have played around with ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, the usual beginner chatbot stuff. I have tried to run a few projects with Claude co-work and more times than not have been frustrated with the results. I know it's not on the AI side, it's on the operator side. Although, I don't really trust it too much when I take a picture of a mushroom and send it to ChatGPT to find out if it is safe to eat or not. My level of confidence in AI is definitely not that high lol 🍄☠️. I need to learn the correct ways on how to prompt, create instructions, and have a solid foundation set up with context files.

One of the issues I have, is that I have ADHD. I actually hate saying that because I don't want it to sound like it's an excuse or that it holds me back. But I do run into ADHD paralysis a lot. I feel like I need to have more and more and more information and it drowns me to the point of not being able to move forward because there is so much information. Point in reference: in my Watch Later playlist on YouTube I literally had 4,400 videos saved from the last year. I am not kidding. 4,400 videos. "Hello my name is Anthony and I'm a knowledge and information hoarder" 😅😅

I create a lot of digital and mental chaos and I just lock up not knowing how to move. I am proud to say that I'm using AI, not well mind you, trying to clean up my digital chaos that I have created over the last 20 years. I have burned more freaking tokens trying to get Claude Co-Work to go through files and dissect them into proper master files, but I'm finally getting much better results.

I love, love, love to learn and being in a space like this with all of you who are at all these different levels with AI is a genuine honor!! I can't wait to learn how to move forward with everything! I love watching Nate's videos, but he is light years away from where I'm at. I spend a lot of time going and looking up things that he talks about. Like he's talking about agentic loops and I'm just trying to figure out why the hell ChatGPT keeps giving me 6 fingers on my left hand!!! (I have a finger for you, ChatGPT) 😆

Since I am almost completely new to this world of computers and AI, I've had to do some massive catch-up. I started at the beginning by learning just the basics of computers and how the components work and even started to build my own computer. I just find this all so fascinating now!

I don't know how messaging or anything works in this community yet, but I would love to connect with some of you amazing people to see where you are at on your journey with this. It really fascinates me to see how everyone is using AI! You all are the trailblazers in the AI space and I feel very fortunate to be able to learn from you!!
